It helps nurture problem-solving skills, logic and creativity. By starting early, students will have a foundation for success in any 21st-century career path.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Last week students watched a short video that explains the task&#8230;they seem excited to try it out!\u00a0 I will post videos as the week progresses.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Kindergarten students are still practicing how to log on to the computers.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>First graders and second graders received their Study Island passwords and will practice logging in again.\u00a0 Please remember that this is an excellent resource to use at home!\u00a0 Ten or fifteen minutes practicing every night will boost their NWEA scores!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week, students in grades 3-5 are going to take part in the Hour of Code!\u00a0 We are joining students allover the country and code.org to learn simple coding!
