<\/a><\/p>\nGreenfield Village<\/strong><\/p>\n May 3, 2017<\/p>\n Dear Families,<\/p>\n On Wednesday, May 31, 2017<\/strong>, the first graders will be going on a field trip to Greenfield Village<\/strong>. In this packet you will find: a permission slip and an envelope for payment. The bus is scheduled to leave for the village at 9:00 am and return at approximately 2:30 pm.<\/p>\n Greenfield Village recommends at least one adult chaperone to every ten students; however, it would better serve each student\u2019s needs to have one adult chaperone to every four students (or less). If you are interested in becoming a chaperone, please stop in the office to have your background checked. This process takes time, so please do not wait to do this. If you have not had your background checked and cleared through the office, you will not be able to chaperone this field trip. <\/strong>L<\/strong><\/p>\n The ticket price for admission into Greenfield Village WITH <\/strong>a ride pass is $13.50 for students AND<\/strong> chaperones. \u00a0Please send in your payment in the attached envelope. Student tickets are reduced (from $18) because we are using the funds from our 1st<\/sup> Grade Market Day to cover part of the admission ticket (we got the best package, which offers the most experiences) and the bus.<\/p>\n **If you are a Greenfield Village member, please indicate that on your payment envelope. If you are not <\/strong>chaperoning, please send in a copy of your membership along with a note giving permission for your child to use the membership without you physically with them. If you are chaperoning, just bring yourself and your membership to show at the entrance gate J<\/p>\n Finally, chaperones may not ride the bus this year due to limited seating.
