{"id":683,"date":"2016-10-10T07:01:35","date_gmt":"2016-10-10T11:01:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mrsdonelson1\/?p=683"},"modified":"2016-10-10T07:03:15","modified_gmt":"2016-10-10T11:03:15","slug":"going-on-a-number-walk-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mrsdonelson1\/2016\/10\/10\/going-on-a-number-walk-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Going on a Number Walk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mrsdonelson1\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1398\/2016\/10\/numbers.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-685 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mrsdonelson1\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1398\/2016\/10\/numbers-300x168.png\" alt=\"numbers\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For this project you will need to go on a Number Walk in your local community with an adult member of your family.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You may choose one specific number to look for on your Number walk (e.g. 7) or you may decide to look for all numbers from 0-10 or 0-20.<\/li>\n<li>Keep a record of the numbers you see on your walk. you can draw pictures, take photographs or write about the numbers you see.<\/li>\n<li>Think of a creative way to share the numbers you saw on your walk with the class. You can make a poster, a book, or even a multimedia presentation.<\/li>\n<li>You will have 2-3 minutes to share your project. Practice what you will say with a family member so that you will feel confident speaking in front of the class.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bring your project to school to share on OCTOBER 27th.<\/p>\n<p>Any project turned in after that date will have points taken off.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you so much for all your support and cooperation.
