It will be structured differently than last semester. We are focusing on PSAT prep as well as essay writing.<\/p>\n<p>40% of your grade will be one 4-5 page essay. You will have multiple chances to submit and improve before the final due date in late March. Every student is expected to earn an A!<\/p>\n<p>The rest of the coursework will be practicing skills for the PSAT, and of course, the final exam in June.<\/p>\n<p>Parents: Keep an eye out for the essay assignment sometime next week.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This semester is an exciting look at persuasive writing!
