Since we are starting the second semester I am bumping students into multiplication facts on xtramath because it is so important to future math concepts.  If your child is close to passing subtraction I am going to ask them before I bump them up because they have been working hard to reach the goal and earn the pack of gum.  The choice to bump up will be theirs to make.  <\/p>\n<p>Please encourage your child to practice XTRAMATH at home or begin using flash cards to learn facts 0-12 (in under 3 seconds each).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Next week is the half way point of our year as third graders.
