{"id":287,"date":"2020-05-13T12:23:54","date_gmt":"2020-05-13T16:23:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mrsbrewerhistory\/?p=287"},"modified":"2020-05-14T16:41:06","modified_gmt":"2020-05-14T20:41:06","slug":"updates-about-s2-grades","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mrsbrewerhistory\/2020\/05\/13\/updates-about-s2-grades\/","title":{"rendered":"Updates about S2 Grades"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Hi All, Just a friendly reminder that the grading system for Semester 2 (for the entire District) is as follows<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>MP4 will count as normal, as we reported grades before shifting to Remote Learning.<\/li><li>MP5 will be dropped.<\/li><li>MP6 will be graded on a modified system (see below):<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>75% or higher=\u201dA\u201d<br>60-75%=CREDIT<br>59% or lower= NO CREDIT<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NOTHING from the time between 3\/16 (when we left school) and 4\/20 (when we resumed grading) counted against you. It only HELPED your grade (or it was dropped).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What that means FOR YOU\u2013<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You MUST have a 60% to receive credit for this Marking Period.<\/strong> Because my course is one you need to graduate, you would need to make it up in <strong>summer school<\/strong> (which will likely be Remote, as well) and costs money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SCHOOL ENDS JUNE 11th.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PLEASE make it a point to reach out if you are currently below 60% and arrange a way to make up missing work.<\/strong> I will do all I am permitted to do to help you get there, but you must put in the effort as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>The ONLY way you can be excused from work is to have a documented illness on file or a documented case of lack of resources, with the District.
