This semester has flown by!<\/p>\n<p>A few reminders:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Even though tomorrow is &#8220;just a half day&#8221; there will be a lot going on! <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">It is very important that your child attends school tomorrow.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Students will\u00a0<strong>not<\/strong> be able to make up work missed tomorrow on Monday.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Tomorrow is the last day of the marking period.<\/span> Grades &amp; report cards will be entered started at 12 PM tomorrow (after the students leave).<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Science test<\/strong> on the states of matter is tomorrow.<\/span> Study guide sent home Wednesday.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Math test<\/strong> on Unit 2, place value &amp; line plots is tomorrow. <\/span>Study guide sent home week of 10\/17 and again tonight.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Writing notebooks<\/strong> with 16 pages of writing <strong>are due<\/strong> tomorrow.<\/span> (Students have been working for 2.5 hours per week in class on their writing. This should be done already and only those who haven&#8217;t been on task will need to finish their 16 pages tonight).\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #800080; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Spelling test<\/strong> on Long e.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Regular <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">spelling word word is due tomorrow.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I know it seems like &#8220;a lot,&#8221; but we&#8217;ve been working day by day to accomplish all of these items. I have every confidence that students are going to do well if they try their best!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;d love to have some special treats to celebrate the end of the card marking. If you&#8217;d like to donate or bring a snack for the class, please comment below! Fruits &amp; Veggies are always a hit!
