Mid-Winter Break is here already!<\/p>\n

All assignments were started at school, they just need to be finished at home. Nothing new was assigned over break with the exception\u00a0of the 2 pages in our writing notebook.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Here are the assignments for Mid-Winter Break:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Math<\/strong>: – Valentine’s Day Division- every question must be answered, then the picture should be colored. (assignment #1)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Science<\/strong>: Moon Phases- finish coloring your moon phases diagram. Remember to color nicely, there shouldn’t be lines showing from where you colored and didn’t color. (assignment #2)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Social Studies<\/strong>: 3 Branches paper-\u00a0Write about the three branches of our Federal Government. Each paragraph should be about 1 branch. Tell what the branch does, who is on the branch, and how they are elected. <\/span>Remember to INDENT <\/span>each paragraph. You must also have an introduction and conclusion, for a total of 5 paragraphs. Remember that we started a graphic organizer together in your writing notebook. (assignment #3)\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Unit 5_ Our Federal Government- essay on 3 branches<\/a>\u00a0<– Essay Prompt<\/p>\n

Reading\/Language Arts<\/strong>: 2 pages in your writing notebook. If you forgot your writing notebook, use loose leaf paper to complete these 2 pages. (assignments #4-5)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Moughni<\/strong> also sent home a reading log that should be filled out daily. Students are expected to read 35-45 minutes daily. (assignment #6)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
