Room Parents will be helping our school community and making a positive impact on our school culture by giving 1-3 hours per month of their time to our school.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Responsibilities may include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reading with students one-on-one or in small groups<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assisting with classroom parties<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Helping the teacher coordinate the classroom bake sale, book fair, and end-of-year celebration<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Working on projects around the classroom (i.e. hanging up work, laminating papers, preparing materials, organizing the classroom library)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Helping to coordinate with other parent volunteers for class events<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To sign up, simply let your child\u2019s teacher know you are interested! <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Become a Nowlin Room Parent! &nbsp; Nowlin Elementary School is looking for volunteers from each classroom to act as Room Parents.
