I wanted it to be the first project of the semester so I could launch the lesson\u00a0by stating how important it is for a class to be <strong>unified<\/strong> in nature and how no one is more important than the whole of the class. The best way to fulfill our mission\u00a0was by having each student decorate and glue up one\u00a0square icohedron. Once complete, we glue 12 together end to end\u00a0 to create a ring (18&#8243;across) and then the second half creates the other ring, to complete the sphere.
