Hello All, \u00a0 The District is honored to be hosting 36 FTC (middle school teams) in a state qualifier AND an exhibition for 14\u00a0FLL\u00a0Jr. (K-2) teams from around the state. (OK, a lot of letters there so please see the attached Press Release for details, but in short, this is a really cool and important robotics event at\u00a0McCollough\/Unis on\u00a0December 9th)\u00a0AND WE NEED YOUR HELP! \u00a0 We ONLY have 20 VOLUNTEERS signed up for our\u00a0December 8-9\u00a0event and we\u00a0NEED at least 120 VOLUNTEERS. \u00a0 FIRST events are volunteer-driven. 99% of FIRST workers are volunteers. \u00a0 Please recruit volunteers 13 YEARS OLD and OLDER.\u00a0 Go to\u00a0https:\/\/www.mcubots.us\/volunteers \u00a0for detailed steps on how to register. Try to have volunteers registered by\u00a0MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27th.\u00a0 FIRST requires that all volunteers go through screening\/background check during volunteer registration.\u00a0 It usually take about a week for each volunteer to be screened online.
