Hello everyone,<\/p>\n

Today in class we continued our discussion of Observations and Inferences.<\/p>\n

If you were absent YESTERDAY<\/strong><\/p>\n

You will need to use your google powers to research the difference between an observation and an inference. I can give a very brief idea below:<\/p>\n

Observation:<\/strong> Gathering information using your 5 senses<\/p>\n

Inference:<\/strong> Making a prediction based on what you have observed.<\/p>\n

You will need to work through\u00a0THIS<\/a>\u00a0sheet, and glue it on page 3A of your Interactive Notebook. It is not very difficult at all.<\/p>\n

If you were absent TODAY<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Page 3B<\/strong>, write a sentence for EACH inference you chose on the Boy in the Water sheet. In your sentence, explain\u00a0why<\/em> that inference could happen based on your observations in the picture.<\/p>\n

When that is finished, research\u00a0Qualitative and Quantitative Observations.\u00a0<\/strong>On Page 4A, find one object around your house and write 8 qualitative observations and 4 quantitative observations!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
