We also looked into how we could possibly use these to help solve real-world problems. We did SAS 1 and the first page os SAS 2, covering the Overview and beginning of our first Exploring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anyone who missed Friday&#8217;s quiz needs to make it up either before or after school tomorrow in Moylan&#8217;s room. Plan for 15-20 minutes to take the quiz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tuesday, September 17:<\/strong> Today was a chance to finish our first exploring of the topic, finding out how reflections and translations can be related to one another. Students who missed last week&#8217;s quiz came by to make it up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wednesday, September 18:<\/strong> We powered on through the second exploring section of our Rigid Transformations topic, folding more patty paper to see how we can use reflections to create rotations of a figure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Thursday, September 19:<\/strong> We spent a good deal of the hour today talking about last week&#8217;s assessment, going over each question and the possible struggles\/confusions related to them.
