A review study guide will come home today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Social St. We continued out History of early Michigan with the French and British, the Native American legends, the Fur trade and we will continue our unit with Michigan becoming a State next week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reading groups were revised and many students moved up! Keep up the great work. I do send 1 book home and they have an assignment due the following week. If they finish it early they can get a new book but I do not want to pressure the 2nd graders, having said that, they are all working so very hard I am beyond impressed. 3rd graders, try to keep up lol<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In writing we wrote narratives on any topic they wanted, next week we will begin research writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also next week, we will begin NWEA assessments again. I am going to start with Reading because I am super excited to see their growth!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hope you have a great weekend and keep healthy. So far my girls have NOT been well (one with the flu and the other with a virus that now needs steroids). Fingers crossed this ends soon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mrs. Morrison<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1 last thing! I am sending home a permission slip for a field trip that takes place in March. The money is due next week so please return it ASAP.
