{"id":206,"date":"2019-11-22T08:28:25","date_gmt":"2019-11-22T13:28:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/moisa\/?p=206"},"modified":"2019-11-22T08:28:27","modified_gmt":"2019-11-22T13:28:27","slug":"week-of-november-25-29","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/moisa\/2019\/11\/22\/week-of-november-25-29\/","title":{"rendered":"Week of November 25- 29"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hello Families!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We have a short week coming up this week.&nbsp; There&#8217;s NO SCHOOL on Wednesday November 27 and Thursday November 28.&nbsp; Enjoy the Thanksgiving Break with your family and friends!&nbsp; Take time to relax, have fun with those you love and eat lots of delicious food!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">What We Are Learning\u2026<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Names-<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We are learning to recognize the letters in our name and the order the letters go in.&nbsp; Please practice on recognizing the letters in your child\u2019s name and the order in which they go (Rajaa- R-a-j-a-a).<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Letters-\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Letter review this week!&nbsp; No new letters!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The students love every minute of singing the letter songs, finding letters in their names and around the room.&nbsp; This week we will review the letters we&#8217;ve learned so far.&nbsp; Students will learn to identify the letters, the sound, recognize the letter in print and write the letter on their own.&nbsp; Please make sure you are checking the blog for updates so you can help work with your child at home.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Please review letters- Ll- Larry Lion, Ff- Fifi Fish, Ee- Edna Elephant, Hh- Hattie Horse, Tt- Tiggy Tiger, Ii- Iggy Iguana, Uu- Umbie Umbrella, Cc- Callie Cat<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Reminders-<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">There are several important reminders for this week.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>\nNo School on Wednesday November 27th and Thursday November 28th.\n<\/li><li>\nWe are working on our self- help skills and the focus right now is getting ready for outside time.&nbsp; Please help your child learn how to put on their coat, hat and gloves and practicing zipping it independently.\n<\/li><li>\nAs the weather continues changing over from cooler days to cold days.&nbsp; Please make sure your child has a heavy coat, hat, mittens\/ gloves and a scarf.\n<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello Families!
