{"id":176,"date":"2019-10-06T13:18:11","date_gmt":"2019-10-06T17:18:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/moisa\/?p=176"},"modified":"2019-10-18T13:19:11","modified_gmt":"2019-10-18T17:19:11","slug":"october-7-11-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/moisa\/2019\/10\/06\/october-7-11-2\/","title":{"rendered":"October 7- 11"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dear Parents,<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We are beginning to\nadjust to school and the daily routine.&nbsp; We have been extremely busy\nlearning the ropes of the classroom and what is expected during out time at\nschool.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We have been\nfollowing our daily routine and are beginning to understand what comes\nnext.&nbsp; We wash our hands and can choose to eat breakfast when we come\nin.&nbsp; After breakfast we go to the carpet for large group and greeting time\nand during this time we count, sing songs and dance.&nbsp; When we finish large\ngroup we participate in small group where we work on a variety of activities-\nlearning the areas of the classroom, practicing certain skills (cutting,\ndrawing, sorting, patterning and counting).&nbsp; Then we head into work time\nwhich is where we can choose what we would like to engage in and which areas of\nthe classroom we would like to play in.&nbsp; We have the house area, block\narea, cutting table, art area, play-doh area and carpet\/ work area.&nbsp; We\nhave lots of things we can do in the carpet\/ work area- build with legos, large\nmagnet-tiles, unifix cubes, puzzles, jungle animals and loop and learn.&nbsp;\nThen we work on writing after work time.&nbsp; Once we finish all the learning,\nwe get to go outside and play.&nbsp; Then we eat lunch and have rest\ntime.&nbsp; After rest time we can choose to have snack and play on the carpet\nuntil it&#8217;s time to go outside again.&nbsp; Then we get to go home!&nbsp; We are\nvery busy every day!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This week we are\nlearning&#8230;<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Colors-<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">purple<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">orange<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">brown<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">black<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We are continuing\nto work on learning colors. &nbsp;We continue to review red and blue,&nbsp;yellow,&nbsp;green;\nfinding red, blue, yellow and green objects in the classroom and sharing them\nwith our peers and teachers.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Thank you for your\ncontinued help in sending the baggies in each day with the different colored\nobjects. &nbsp;The students have so much fun sharing their special item with\nthe other students in class.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Names-<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Please begin to\nwork on your child&#8217;s name. &nbsp;Have the students practice recognizing their\nname and beginning to talk about the letters that make up their name. &nbsp;We\nwill begin exploring our names in the next few days. &nbsp;Thank you!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reminders-<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\nPicture\nDay- Monday October 7th.&nbsp; Please bring your envelope in and give to the\nteacher if you plan on purchasing photos.&nbsp; Exact change must be provided.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;\nPlease\ncontinue to dress for the weather.&nbsp; The cooler weather is upon us so\nplease make sure that your child has a jacket to wear outside.<\/h4>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Parents, We are beginning to adjust to school and the daily routine.&nbsp; We have been extremely busy learning the ropes of the classroom and what is expected during out time at school.
