We have had many good discussions about this in the weekly class meetings. I will be sending out the codes for the iLearn meetings in an email tomorrow for those of you that don’t have it. Remember that if you try to join the room, before I get there, you won’t be able to. Just be patient.

Bottom line is to do as much work as you can and to do it well. We know that everyone has a lot of different things going on in their lives right now.

Creating the lessons for Home Tech this week was a personal disappointment for me. I always look forward to the electrical unit because it is 1) something I consider myself very skilled at and 2) my junior high teacher taught us how to work with live electricity in 8th grade so I make a personal connection during this unit. There was so much that I would have liked to show and have you experience first hand. The videos don’t really do justice for the unit I had planned for you. Many of the Youtube vids are either too technical for you at this point or are full of mistakes. I had to settle for these two. Again my apologies. We all got cheated. Thanks, COVID! 🙁

I will update grades for the first three weeks either later today or by the end of the day tomorrow (4/12) as I need to report all students that have not done a darn thing yet for this class. Some of you may be getting a phone call from me !

Day of the Week

Class Period

Time

Mode of Delivery

Monday

—-

11:00 -2:00

Office Hours (email, Remind, phone call)

Tuesday

1st 2nd

1:00 – 1:40 2:00 – 2:40

Big Blue Button (iLearn)

Wednesday

3rd 4th

1:00 – 1:40 2:00 – 2:40

Big Blue Button (iLearn)

Thursday

5th 6th

1:00 – 1:40 2:00 – 2:40

Big Blue Button (iLearn)

Friday

—-

11:00 – 2:00

Office Hours (email, Remind, phone call)

Welcome to a new week! Seniors you only have two weeks to go! The rest of you only have five weeks to go. The reason that is important is that many of you, while you enrolled in the class, and perhaps even had email contacts with me, have yet to complete any of the assignments […]

[1

post-142","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-blogs","post-preview
["GET
