ELA\/Writing:<\/strong> In writing, we are revising and editing our opinion essays. We will then write our final drafts! In ELA, we are learning about theme, or the lesson, of a fiction story. We are discussing the difference between main idea and theme while exploring different passages\/stories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Spelling (Week 14):<\/strong> Science\/Social Studies: <\/strong>In science, we are finishing up our investigations on how heat can cause things to move. We will be reviewing and taking our Mystery 7 quiz. In social studies, we are continuing to discuss movement, migration, and immigration. We are going to be learning the song “Follow the Drinking Gourd” and discussing it’s importance.
