Good morning!<\/p>\n

It is hard to believe that this Friday, January 18 is the end of the second card marking already. Therefore, we have a busy week with some assessments to finish up!<\/p>\n

Math:<\/strong>
\nToday, January 15, we will be taking our mid-module assessment. The focus is on multiplication problems (2 digit by 1 digit and 3 digit by 1 digit) as well as multiplication word problems. Our next focus will be on 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication problems and long division. Please keep practicing multiplication facts at home with your child so that they are successful with the bigger problems in class. <\/p>\n

Social Studies:<\/strong>
\nTomorrow, January 16, we will have our Unit 3 Social Studies test. Students worked on a review yesterday in class, and they can also review playing Kahoot at home if they would like to! The link to our Kahoot is Unit 3 Kahoot<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Reading:<\/strong>
\nAs we finish up this card marking, we will be finishing our current reading group books, and moving on to our next books. I will also be progress monitoring and assessing the students individually to get their current reading level. <\/p>\n

Finally, NWEA!<\/strong> We took our math NWEA last week, and will be taking the reading NWEA this week. Please keep encouraging your children to focus, do their best, and get a good night’s sleep followed by a healthy breakfast!<\/p>\n
