Each week, you will have assignments posted on Sunday night.  These assignments will need to be completed by Friday a 11:59 p.m.   They may include <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ixl.com\/\">ixl.com<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vocabulary.com\/\">vocabulary.com<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/newsela.com\/\">newsela.com<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/moodle.dearbornschools.org\/login\/index.php\">ilearn.dearbornschools.org<\/a>, or other online learning.  I may send out videos and ask you to respond on this blog and discuss reading and listening activities with other students.  Please check your <a href=\"https:\/\/mail.google.com\/mail\/u\/0\/\">student email<\/a> at least three times per week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For those without internet, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wxyz.com\/news\/national\/coronavirus\/comcast-offering-internet-essentials-package-free-for-60-months-during-coronavirus-outbreak\">Comcast is offering free basic internet services to low income families for 60 days.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Weekly Activities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/render.bitstrips.com\/v2\/cpanel\/05921f74-5d4d-4889-b48f-cc47cad45f7d-4b93afb1-d272-4950-89ef-95b921099e65-v1.png?transparent=1&amp;palette=1\" alt=\"Bitmoji Image\" width=\"254\" height=\"254\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>    <strong>Metacognitive Logs<\/strong>  Please read in a <a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/melvinj\/find-a-book-at-your-reading-level\/\">good fit book<\/a> for 20 minutes each day.  Metacognitive logs will be due at the end of each week on Friday, by 11:59 p.m. at the latest.  You may share them to me in advance, if you finish early.  Create your own copy of this <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1O1vlZ4XZU49pI46AvNfzVY46A7AaAvI8pyl9YOpUx2g\/edit?usp=sharing\">metacognitive logs form<\/a> and title it with your first and last name, the date that it is due, and your block. I will post either a video of me reading a book or a video of the book being read, along with activities to complete weekly. We will use resources sent out weekly to continue working on process writing, to revise each other&#8217;s writing, and to publish our writing. This will be posted on Wednesday each week, and may require you to submit a video or proof that you have completed the assignment.
