My name is Mr. Melvin, and I&#8217;ll be your 6th grade English Language Arts teacher.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For homework this week, students will be expected to:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Get their <a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/melvinj\/class-info\/\">syllabus<\/a> signed and return it by Tuesday, Sept. 3rd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Bring in <a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/melvinj\/2019\/06\/11\/5th-to-6th-grade-summer-learning\/\">summer one-pagers<\/a> by Thursday, August 29th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Bring in supplies found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/melvinj\/class-info\/\">syllabus<\/a> for Monday, September 9th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Find a <a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/melvinj\/find-a-book-at-your-reading-level\/\">good fit book<\/a> that interests them at home or check one out from the school library or Mr. Melvin&#8217;s class library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please note that there is no school this Friday, August 30th or on Monday, September 2nd.
