I hope you all enjoyed a lovely weekend and a beautiful Mother’s Day! The children worked so hard on your surprises at school!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take a look at some of the awesome things we did on our marvelous Monday!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We worked on opinion writing pieces about why we want a special toy.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We are working on using letters and words to express our ideas in writing.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We went to the 2nd grade store of handmade goods! We each spent money to buy something we want!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We are pointing to show were in the room we can look to find the letter Aa!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Today begins the ABC Countdown to the last day of school! Both groups did something for the letter A! Group B drew their favorite animal and shared! Group A did a Nearpod for the letter Aa! We wrote the letter Aa, drew what begins with letter Aa and were artists when we made our windsocks! Tomorrow we will have letter Bb day!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We reviewed sight words as we looked for them in our Benchmark poem! We used our “super-duper pretend binoculars”! We also used our magnetic letters to spell the words we were looking for within the text.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
