Hello Families!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had a marvelous Monday! Take a look at some the marvelous things we did! In addition to these fun activities, we started Unit 9 in Benchmark. This unit focuses on the question; Why do we make choices? as well as Needs and Wants! Needs are things we have to have to stay healthy and living. (ex. water, shelter) Wants are things we would like to have (ex. jewelry, pets)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We made lanterns to decorate our houses for Ramadan!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We wrote the beginning and middle of our next personal narrative to tell about a time we had fun outside during one of the four seasons. This friend is writing about time when he raked leaves and jumped in the pile with his family during the fall!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We practiced representing teen numbers by drawing a picture! Ex.. 14 is one group of 10 and 4 extra ones.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We did another Nearpod activity as a class about needs and wants! We played I spy on Nearpod and drew something we saw that is a need This friend drew a house.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We played I Spy on Nearpod and looked for something to draw that is a want. This friend drew am iPad.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Needs and Wants game on Nearpod<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We practiced spelling and mixing and fixing the sight word to.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We practiced making the letter Xx with playdough and saying the sound Xx makes.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We talked about what it means to make a choice. We took turns with our Peanut Butter and Jelly partners telling about a time we had to make a choice.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
