Hello Families!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I added some pictures from yesterday….so this post is extra awesome with even more pictures of my amazing students and their incredible work! \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am such a blessed teacher to have such wonderful students! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take a look at what we have been doing!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We brainstormed a list of ways we get to school. Then the next day we wrote a sentence to tell how we get to school!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We wrote about what we like to do when we are not using a screen such as a tablet, computer, TV, or video game after listening to (Clicker the Cat Online Safety Book for Kids) https:\/\/youtu.be\/9tIK8z5cM0Q<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This friend wrote they can got o school on a bike!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We practiced handwriting the letter Ii and self evaluated our work.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We cut and glued the numerals to match the quantity counted.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We decomposed the number 6 using our 6 tower of cubes and the number bond model.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We started a new unit that focuses on “Why do we use technology?” in Benchmark. The children shared pictures of different technology they use at home.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This friend uses a tablet.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
This friend uses a toy laptop and a real laptop!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We learned technology helps makes things easier for us!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This friend uses a tablet.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We made more upper and lowercase letter flash cards to practice letter and sound identification.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We went on a letter Bb sound hunt! These friends found a book, a belt, and a backpack.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We practiced words from the -at word family!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We made and read the sight word she!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
This friend found butter and a bottle for the letter Bb’s sound. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We practiced word by word matching as we read an -a family book!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

During Learning Labs we wrote, drew, and told about penguins!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We decomposed the number 8 using our 8 tower of cubes and the number bond model.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Here is one of our friends practicing following the rules like a good citizen while out in public! Thank you for wearing a mask!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

PLEASE take note that tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday’s Learning Labs will be one on one and by individual appointment only for further mid-year assessments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
