We have been learning about characters in the story. We listened to Little Red Red Riding Hood and identified the characters… The characters in the story are Little Red Riding Hood and The Wolf”<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We sorted items that begin with the sounds of S and M<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We identified the characters in “Goldilocks and theThree Bears”. This friend drew Mama Bear, Papa Bear, and Baby Bear.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
we are learning about 2D shapes. We learned about Triangles and constructed a triangle with three sides using materials from home.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We identified the characters in the Benchmark story, “The Little Helper”. The characters in the story are the lion and the mouse.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

In Eureka Math we identified how our pizza slices looked like triangles.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We went on an adventure in our homes to search for items with 1 syllable! These friends found a spoon and a cup.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We learned about rectangles. A rectangles has 2 long sides and 2 short sides. We constructed rectangles using materials we have at home.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We learned a new sight word. (the) We used our magic fingers to point to and find the sight word the in our Benchmark poem.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This friend found socks and a cup while on her adventure for 1 syllable words.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We identified our favorite character in the story “Duck on a Bike” by David Shannon (one of my favorite children’s books \ud83d\ude42 ) This friend said and drew that his favorite character is the duck.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This friend said their favorite character is the goat. We practiced stretching for the sounds in words as label our favorite character.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We practiced writing and identifying the letters that make the sight word the.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We did a RAN chart yesterday for Elephants! Today we presented our elephant facts. We stated the facts as we wore our mask! This friend said elephants use their trucks to hug other elephants!!!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We discussed the difference between hexagons and circles!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We created elephant masks with paper plates!!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
