Hello Families!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So…..as much as I have been missing everyone and normalcy….this morning it really hit me. I just overwhelmingly began missing EVERYTHING and EVERYONE! I mean I have been missing everyone already…but it just really sank in today! I just want to hug my parents so badly!!! (like many do I am sure)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
BUT….with that said…something else hit me! I thought…when I am ever going to this opportunity again! This opportunity to slow down and look around me at all of the little things I have been missing and taking for granted….or maybe even not taking for granted, but just rushing through. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The last few nights, while eating dinner, I sat there and waited for everyone to finish eating before I got up to start cleaning up. I thought….let me just stop and enjoy what I have around me instead of rushing through it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don’t know about you…but I need to look at this and find the hidden blessing behind it all! We are all going to be ok! I know and believe that! And…YES!!!! How I wish to see my students in our classroom and hear their giggles and little voices! But….guess what??? You have that gift right now! You can listen to them and their little stories. Ask them questions and hear their responses….Listen to their explanations about their drawings or things they write and make. But most of all….just let them know how much they are loved and make the most out of each moment with them!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate all you are doing at home with your children! I have seen such amazing things through the videos and pictures you are sharing! It is true…..parents are the first teachers in our lives! I value you, parents! Keep up the great work! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
