Thursday is a half day and Valentine’s Day!!! We will have a Valentine’s Day Party starting at 10:15. I would love to have parents come and volunteer as helpers during this time! Please see me if you are available.<\/p>\n
We will be passing out Valentine’s cards to each other. We have 17 students in the class should you and child choose to participate with this. Your child needs to bring enough Valentine’s for the whole class. Please have your child write only their name on the Valentine. I am also asking that if you are making goodie bags or plan on bringing candy with the Valentine, please remember we have a student who is allergic to nuts and another student who cannot have any treats at all. I appreciate your cooperation in making this a fun Valentine morning for our little angels!<\/p>\n
In addition to this event, PLEASE plan on joining us tomorrow, Monday, at 4:30 for the STEM Family Fun Night! This is free and will take place in the cafeteria. I will be there and so will the other Oakman teachers. We will be running fun hands on science and technology games for you and your children! The event ends at 6:00! Any Y5 that comes to the STEM night will get to pick from the classroom Treasure Box!<\/p>\n
Please remember, our class project, “Making Critters Comfy”. We are still collecting old towels and blankets for the Dearborn Animal Shelter.<\/p>\n
