Hello Families!<\/p>\n

Yesterday we were visited by a silly leprechaun… (so we pretended)! When we got to school we discovered he came and danced around our room with green paint in his shoes! He had a party inside our dollhouse! He led us on a hunt to find my pointer! And he turned me into a bearded leprechaun! It was a very fun and busy day with the silly leprechaun tactics, science, and guest readers!<\/p>\n

Mrs. Awada read us a book about how to trap a leprechaun!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"We<\/a>

We made leprechaun traps!!!!!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"We<\/a>

We hid a plastic gold coin to trick the leprechaun inside our traps!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"We<\/a>

We worked in teams to make our traps!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"We<\/a>

We painted rainbows so the leprechaun would want to come inside our room!!!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"We<\/a>

We had a friend from Mrs. Patterson’s class read one of my favorite books, “Caps for Sale” by Esphyr Slobodkina.<\/p><\/div>\n

The leprechaun left shamrock clues that rhymed around the school for us to find the missing pointer!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"The<\/a>

The Leprechaun made himself at home inside of our dollhouse!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Our<\/a>

Our traps did not trap the leprechaun!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"We<\/a>

We walked in and saw all of the little green footprints everywhere!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Firefighter<\/a>

Firefighter Mike read us “Curious George visits the Fire Station” by Margret and H.A. Reys as well as a book about firefighters!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Mail<\/a>

Mail Carrier, Dolores, read us “Never Mail an Elephant” by Jared Lee!!!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"We<\/a>

We sorted pictures of living and non living things! Keys are non-living things. They do not grown and change, nor do they need food and water.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"People<\/a>

People are living! We grow and change and need food and water to live!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"We<\/a>

We cut our pictures from magazines to sort into living and non-living groups as we worked in teams!<\/p><\/div>\n
