Hello Families!<\/p>\n

Enjoy these pictures of the awesome things we have been doing and learning in Young 5s!<\/p>\n

We practiced letter formation for the letter Bb.<\/p><\/div>\n

We began a new Daily 5 choice called Read to Someone!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"When<\/a>

When we Read to Someone we sit EEKK with a buddy. (Elbow to elbow, knee to knee)<\/p><\/div>\n

We learned about wants. We used the magic boards to draw one thing we want. We shared what we drew by saying… “I want a …..” Wants are things we would like to have.<\/p><\/div>\n

\"One<\/a>

One of our friends said he want a teddy bear to snuggle with!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"We<\/a>

We practiced identifying the number of sides of 2D shapes. We used toothpicks and playdough balls to construct 2D shapes!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Ms.<\/a>

Ms. Shrieve helped us check out new library books!<\/p><\/div>\n

\"Ms.<\/a>

Ms. Gruz taught is more about weather. She helped us learn a skit to name the types of weather!<\/p><\/div>\n

We opened a new inside recess center.. We have a sand table now! Thank you, Mr. Ali for helping us fill our sand table!<\/p><\/div>\n

We used a tree map to record the facts we learned about Polar Bears during writer’s workshop.<\/p><\/div>\n

We have a super hero in our kitchen making coffee for the pretend restaurant.<\/p><\/div>\n
