Please join your child at 8:30 outside for the pledge and morning announcements. After this you are invited to come with your child into our classroom for a meet and greet. I am excited to introduce you to your child&#8217;s classroom. After the meet and greet you are free to take your child home. Please check out the following information. Thank you! Again, I am so happy to be your child&#8217;s teacher. We are going to have an awesome year! Yay! Young 5s!!!! Yay! Oakman!!! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>OH&#8230;.one more thing! Please bring the paper I mailed to your house where I requested you to give me three important bits of information about your child. (ex. likes\/dislikes, allergies, strengths) I also requested your child draw a picture and write their name. I am looking forward to learning more about your child and watching them continue to grow and learn!<\/p>\n<p><b><i>Oakman School Young 5s and Kindergarten <\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Soft Start 2017<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Tuesday, September 5th: (8:30 and Meet and Greet)<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All Young 5s and Kindergarten students and their families arrive at 8:30.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Young 5s and Kindergarten Students and families will be lead by their teacher to their classroom for a meet and greet. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Parents will sign up for an appointment to meet with the teacher for an assessment session with their child. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students leave with their parents after the meet &amp; greet. (If you did sign up for an assessment appointment, we will re-schedule for Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday PM)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Wednesday, September 6th: (8:30-12:00) <\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students will line up \u00a0by door #4 and teacher will greet them at 8:30 AM. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students will have a half day in their classrooms and eat lunch in the cafeteria.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dismissal is at 12:00 noon. Pick up from classroom.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Thursday, September 7th: (8:30-12:00)<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students will line up \u00a0by door #4 and teacher will greet them at 8:30 AM. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students will have a half day in their classrooms and eat lunch in the cafeteria.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dismissal is at 12:00. Pick up from classroom.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Friday, September 8th: (8:30-12:00)<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All Young 5s and Kindergarten students will line up by door #4 and teachers will greet them at 8:30 AM<\/span><b>.<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Young 5s and Kindergarten students will eat lunch in the cafeteria from 11:30-12:00 and return to their classrooms for a parent meeting with the classroom teacher.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dismissal will be at the conclusion of the parent meeting.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">______________________________________________________________<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>*Assessments will be given from 1:00-3:40 by appointments.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>______________________________________________________________<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Monday, September 11th: (8:30-3:35)<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This will be our first full day of Young 5\u2019s and Kindergarten!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Students will line up \u00a0by door #4 and teacher will greet them at 8:30 AM. <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Young 5s and Kindergarten students will be dismissed at 3:35 from the classrooms.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Enjoy your Labor Day!
