Hello Families!<\/p>\n

Tomorrow at 6-7 PM is Care to the Core Rally. This will take place at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center. The rally will focus on anti-bullying and positive behavior. There will be music and fun for the whole family.<\/p>\n

Please remember Friday is a half day. Dismissal will be at 11:45.<\/p>\n

PTA will be selling pizza by the slice as well as by the whole pizza after school on Friday. Reminders about this will go home in your child’s folder tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Speaking of the folders…please keep the monthly calendar attached to the inside of the folder. If your child flips their card there will be a note on the back of this calendar to explain why. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Today we learned a new word!!! We learned the word\u00a0up<\/strong>. In addition to learning this word we reviewed said, no, and me. Please practiced sight words with your child everyday.<\/p>\n

We also practiced identifying numbers up to 20 and finding their matching ten frames! The children are getting much better at number recognition. I will be assessing number recognition on Friday! I assessed counting to 100 by ones today! 7 friends have made it into the Count to 100 Club!!!!<\/p>\n

We wrote a fact that matched our illustrations about lions. We used information we gained by reading a non-fiction book about lions.<\/p>\n
