On Tuesday we started our Summative Journal Project which will be ongoing throughout our Unit on Anne Frank. Students will be responsible for making up any missed Journal Entries before final submission at the end of the unit. Please find Journal Entry #1 below if you missed it in class.
Journal Entry #1
If you were in Anne Frank’s position of having to escape into hiding, what 10 items would you choose to take with you and why? (Remember: you are not allowed to bring any electronics, and the things that you pack in your suitcase should play a role in your survival!!)
Journal Entry #2
For Journal Entry #2, please click on the Google Doc below and follow the sentences stems to complete the two paragraph writing assignment. Complete each sentence stem based on background knowledge, and information that you know from discussions in class, you webquest, and the movies.
(Remember ALL Journal Entries are a 10 pt. Summative!!)
Journal Entry #3
If you were locked away in hiding everyday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. what would you do to keep yourself occupied, while still making no noise. Create a daily schedule telling what you would do during this time, writing each activity in a complete sentence.
- You can only use items that you brought with you in your suitcase!!
- You cannot do the same activity for more than 2 hours out of the day!!!
