{"id":783,"date":"2020-04-20T09:41:54","date_gmt":"2020-04-20T13:41:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mccauslin\/?p=783"},"modified":"2020-04-20T09:41:57","modified_gmt":"2020-04-20T13:41:57","slug":"social-studies-4-20","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mccauslin\/2020\/04\/20\/social-studies-4-20\/","title":{"rendered":"Social Studies 4\/20"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Good Morning and Happy Monday!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a lot of new information this week so I apologize in advance for the length of this post!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/smith.dearbornschools.org\/2020\/04\/20\/grade-level-remote-learning-weekly-calendars-for-4-20-20-4-24-20-for-smith-families\/\">You can find the <strong>Weekly Classwork Calendars <\/strong>on the Smith blog here&#8211;there is also a summary of new student expectations per the district&#8217;s plan.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For 6th Grade Social Studies this week, you will see three new assignments on Google Classroom: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Australia: Movement <em>(I recommend you complete this on 4\/20)<\/em><\/li><li>Australia: Region <em>(I recommend you complete this on 4\/22)<\/em><\/li><li>Australia: Assessment <em>(I recommend you complete this on 4\/24)<\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The movement and region assignments follow the same format as last week&#8217;s work: read the slideshow or watch the video presentation, complete the questions on the Google Form, check\/revise your work with the &#8220;view accuracy&#8221; and &#8220;edit your response&#8221; tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Australia Assessment is on a Google Form. There is a video in which I explain directions.
