Dear Parents,<\/p>\n
I would like to take this time to introduce myself and welcome you and your child to the fourth\/fifth multi-age class. We can all look forward to many exciting and rewarding experiences as the year progresses.<\/p>\n
Language Arts across the curriculum is a priority and will involve several projects allowing students to express their creative talents. Some supplies will be provided.<\/p>\n
The following organizational materials and supplies are optional, but would be helpful to your child throughout the year:<\/p>\n
\u00a0school box (storage for pencils, colored pencils, etc.)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0colored pencils (mapping skills\/social studies and language arts)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0thin markers (language arts, projects, etc.)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0liquid paper or white-out (all subjects)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0extra number 2 pencils<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0extra paper<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0one-subject (100 pages) spiral notebook (math journal)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n If you would like to donate a box of Kleenex to our classroom, it would be greatly appreciated. In addition, students will need a Read-to-Self book the first day of school.<\/p>\n Your cooperation and assistance, throughout the school year, will be most appreciated.<\/p>\n Thank you!<\/p>\n Ms. Kelly Martin<\/p>\n P.S.
