{"id":1,"date":"2017-09-01T10:53:37","date_gmt":"2017-09-01T14:53:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/defaulttemplate1\/?p=1"},"modified":"2017-09-01T12:30:13","modified_gmt":"2017-09-01T16:30:13","slug":"welcome-to-iblog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/markieckid\/2017\/09\/01\/welcome-to-iblog\/","title":{"rendered":"Hello I am Mr. Markiecki"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello all,<\/p>\n<p>I am Dan Markiecki the new Art teacher at Stem\/ Ace. \u00a0This is my first year with Dearborn and I am very excited to share my knowledge and abilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Art is not what you see, but what you make others see<\/em>.\u201d\u00a0<strong>Edgar Degas<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I would like each student to have a sketch book this will act as a journal\/ skill practice book for the students to draw images and designs of their own choice. \u00a0There are two styles of sketch books, glue bound and ring bound, I prefer the metal ring over glue, the glue breaks down and pages begin to fall out. \u00a0The sketch book will be used as a grade in our class. \u00a0Do not get a large one you will be fine with one thats around 9&#8243; x 12&#8243;. They usually are on sale for $3-$9 depending on where you go.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mrfatta.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/Sketchbook-1024x227.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"227\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">these are some examples you do not need to buy these, any style or brand will work fine.
