The skill we are working on is S-blends<\/strong>. A blend is 2 letters that make up one sound.<\/p>\n

*In addition to these spelling words, feel free to have your child practice more s-blend words. On the spelling test they will get 4 “cold words” that they haven’t practiced all week. They should be able to apply the skill that is being taught all week.<\/p>\n

    The bold words are the sight words. These words are not part of the skill we are working on.
