I hope that everyone stayed warm yesterday and enjoyed the snow day! Below you will find what we are working on for the week of January 29-February 1.<\/p>\n<p>*If you have not returned the folder signed that the report card came home in please send it back this week. I cannot send home the next report card if the folder is not returned.<\/p>\n<p>Daily 5 \u2013 Due to the snow day last week we are continuing to work on the book this week is called Polar Bears. We will be learning about non-fiction texts.<\/p>\n<p>Spelling \u2013 The word family for this week is the \u2013an family. The words that will be coming home are: can, tan, man, said, not, do. We will be finishing our writing on Penguins and then moving onto writing about Polar Bears.<\/p>\n<p>Science \u2013 For science we are focusing on severe weather.
