Jon Agee will be at Maples on Friday June 7 in the afternoon presenting to the 2nd graders.\u00a0 He will also have 30 minutes to sign books for anyone that would like to buy books for themselves.\u00a0 The order form is below.\u00a0 Please have the form filled out, with cash only, in an envelope and to Mrs. Briggs in the art room by the end of the day this Friday May 17.\u00a0 I know it’s short notice but the bookstore – Book Beat – needs to order them.<\/div>\n

STUDENT ORDER FORM FOR JON AGEE BOOKS<\/span><\/p>\n

Dear Parent \u2013<\/span><\/p>\n

Your student has the opportunity to meet Jon Agee, well known author\/illustrator of children\u2019s books. \u00a0He will be visiting us from San Francisco, California for only two days (June 6 & 7) so he only has time to visit four schools in Dearborn.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Book Beat Bookstore<\/b> in Oak Park will host a public book signing on Sunday, June 9<\/span>th. \u00a0<\/span>\u00a0Jon will be there from 2 \u2013 3:30 p.m.\u00a0 Book Beat is located at 26010 Greenfield in Oak Park in the shopping mall at Greenfield and Lincoln <\/span><\/p>\n

(10 \u00bd Mile). \u00a0It is one of the few independent bookstores left in the Detroit area.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The owner has agreed to offer Jon\u2019s books to our students at a special price. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The prices listed below reflect a 20% discount + tax.<\/span><\/p>\n

Students purchasing books can have Jon sign them at school. \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Book orders must be returned to school no<\/b> later than Friday, May 17<\/b>th<\/b>.<\/b><\/p>\n

Order forms must be complete and placed in an envelope with the correct amount of money. \u00a0The Book Beat will place the order from all four schools <\/span><\/p>\n

on May 18<\/span>th<\/span> so please make sure the order form and money amount are <\/span>correct and turned in on time.<\/span><\/p>\n
