grade Vincent Van Gogh!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>VINCENT VAN GOGH! \u00a0<\/b>Students learned about Van Gogh&#8217;s \u00a0great artwork and his tragic life by watching a movie. \u00a0Then they drew their own bedrooms in their sketchbooks. \u00a0Van Gogh&#8217;s very famous bedroom painting is on loan to the Detroit Institute of Arts from Paris and the 4th grade will be able to see it on their field trip at the end of April! \u00a0We talked about his painting and if we could tell how he thought about his bedroom by studying it. \u00a0Most thought he liked it because it was very neat and had a lot of art on the walls. \u00a0Students then drew their final drawing of their bedroom in Van Gogh&#8217;s style. \u00a0We took this a step further and students designed their &#8216;dream&#8217; bedroom. \u00a0Some came up with some wild ideas like trampoline beds, soccer fields and hot tubs!<\/p>\n<p><a
