Students listened to the book Only One You.\u00a0 They each designed their own fish after we discussed how every person is unique and special.\u00a0 We learned a lot of lessons from the book that are listed below the pictures.<\/p>\n

  1. Explore.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Be adventurous.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Test the waters \u2013 then dive in.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Become an expert at something.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Never stop learning.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Understand that everyone you meet is just trying to fit in. Help them feel at ease.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. You can do anything that you set your mind to do<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Smile often!<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. If someone says something can\u2019t be done, and you know a way, show them how.<\/span><\/li>\n
  10. Drift away with a good book.<\/span><\/li>\n
  11. Tell you loved ones how much they mean to you. Give them hugs for no reason at all. Cut out hearts and leave them on their pillows.<\/span><\/li>\n
  12. Enjoy every day.<\/span><\/li>\n
  13. Sometimes silence is the best answer.<\/span><\/li>\n
  14. Write notes that say \u201cI love you.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  15. If you don\u2019t try, someday you might wonder what you missed.<\/span><\/li>\n
  16. Slow down and notice details around you.<\/span><\/li>\n
  17. Use your imagination.<\/span><\/li>\n
  18. Be colorful.<\/span><\/li>\n
  19. Laugh out loud.<\/span><\/li>\n
  20. Play!<\/span><\/li>\n
  21. Anything is possible \u2013 all you have to do is try!<\/span><\/li>\n
  22. Be sure to complement at least one person every day. When you do, watch them smile.<\/span><\/li>\n
  23. Love with your whole heart.<\/span><\/li>\n
  24. Be open-minded.<\/span><\/li>\n
  25. Collect something.<\/span><\/li>\n
  26. Be enthusiastic.<\/span><\/li>\n
  27. If you have a special talent, share it with others. Teach. Lead<\/span><\/li>\n
  28. Smile warm the heart; they are contagious.<\/span><\/li>\n
  29. Appreciate what you have. Never take anything for granted.<\/span><\/li>\n
  30. Speak with great clarity. Choose your words carefully.<\/span><\/li>\n
  31. Develop a \u201ccan-do\u201d attitude.<\/span><\/li>\n
  32. Think positive thoughts.<\/span><\/li>\n
  33. Always be on the lookout for a new friend.<\/span><\/li>\n
  34. Look for beauty wherever you are, and keep the memory of it with you.<\/span><\/li>\n
  35. Blend in when you need to. Stand out when you have the chance.<\/span><\/li>\n
  36. Find your own way. You don\u2019t have to follow the crowd.<\/span><\/li>\n
  37. Know when to speak; know when to listen.<\/span><\/li>\n
  38. No matter how you look at it, there is so much to discover.<\/span><\/li>\n
  39. If you make a wrong turn, circle back.<\/span><\/li>\n
  40. If something gets in your way, move around it.<\/span><\/li>\n
  41. Set aside some quiet time to relax and reflect every day.<\/span><\/li>\n
  42. Appreciate art. It\u2019s all around you!<\/span><\/li>\n
  43. Make wishes on the stars in the nighttime sky.<\/span><\/li>\n
  44. There\u2019s only one you in this great big world. Make it a better place.<\/span><\/li>\n
  45. Breathe.<\/span><\/li>\n
  46. When you feel joy, tell someone. Share your happiness.<\/span><\/li>\n
  47. Take care of yourself.<\/span><\/li>\n
  48. Be kind.<\/span><\/li>\n
  49. Look for rainbows after a rain shower.<\/span><\/li>\n
  50. Be spontaneous.<\/span><\/li>\n
  51. Find balance.<\/span><\/li>\n
