Grade Seascapes!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mrs. Baker, Madonna College student teacher, introduced students to the artist Winslow Homer. \u00a0They used the background, middleground, foreground and horizon line concepts that they learned while creating landscapes to make landscapes. \u00a0They painted sky, water and beach. \u00a0Students tore the water and sand and collaged them onto the sky paper. \u00a0Drawing living and non-living things that students may see at the beach was the next step. \u00a0They drew and colored them and cut them out to glue onto their seascapes.<\/p>\n<p><a
