Grade Abstract Art!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Students learned that abstract art used shapes, color\u00a0and lines to create art that doesn&#8217;t have a subject. \u00a0It isn&#8217;t a picture of anything,\u00a0it&#8217;s a design. \u00a0The 3rd graders used lines and shapes traced with crayon to create their own abstract art. \u00a0Students could add some texture by rubbing texture plates with crayon if they chose to. \u00a0Then they painted their designs with watercolor using a wet-on-wet technique.<\/p>\n<p><a
