This past Friday, May 3, 2019, our third grade classrooms had the opportunity to celebrate Arab Heritage Month.\u00a0 This was a cultivating event to learn more about the different cultures and traditions of our students, staff and family.\u00a0 It was a great success for everyone to come together and celebrate!\u00a0 The event included traditional dresses, food, dessert, students’ artwork, pictures, henna tattoos, music, dancing,\u00a0 henna tattoos, and DABKE!<\/p>\n

We want to thank the parents who volunteered to help make this a successful event!\u00a0 We want to also thank Mrs. Jaber for organizing our first annual Third Grade Arab Heritage Celebration.\u00a0 Everyone enjoyed this celebration and we have decided to continue this event as a Maples tradition for future years!<\/p>\n
