We finished up another great week at school.\u00a0 We had many fun things happen this week in our academic subjects such as completing Topic B Math Quiz and learning about how to describe a character in Reading.\u00a0 We also completed all of the NWEA testing which have been recorded in your child’s planner.<\/p>\n

This week, our third graders got to meet Firefighter Jane.\u00a0 Firefighter Jane shared many important information about what happens during a fire emergency.\u00a0 Our students got to learn about fire prevention, fire safety and important information with obtaining free smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors for families who cannot afford them.<\/p>\n

The Dearborn Fire Station will provide free smoke detectors and free carbon monoxide detectors and also install them for no extra charge as a courtesy to promote fire safety.\u00a0 \u00a0If interested with installing free smoke detectors, click on the links below.<\/p>\n

This past Friday, our third graders enjoyed the BrainStormers Assembly.\u00a0 This event was an interactive, fun and engaging for our students to learn the different processes of writing.\u00a0 Our students had the opportunity to participate in the process and act out the skits. Think it up and Write it Down!\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
