Third Grade Welcome Letter for Parents<\/h1>\n<\/header>\n

Dear Parents\/Guardians,<\/strong><\/p>\n

Welcome to\u00a03rd grade!\u00a0Third grade is a great time for\u00a0children\u00a0for students to transition from lower elementary and get acclimated to a new upper elementary routine which will give them new adventures in learning. This is a year of important transitions, as well as gaining new skills. Our Third Grade Team is hoping to make your child\u2019s learning experience a fun and exciting one!\u00a0 \u00a0 So many things\u00a0happen in\u00a0Third Grade!<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Third Grade, we have high expectations for all of our students. It is important that all students come to school on time each day ready to learn.\u00a0 This means that each student should have all of her or his nightly homework completed, come prepared and bring a positive attitude!\u00a0 In our community, we treat each other with respect and always do our best.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In Third Grade, we will be celebrating your child’s progress and growth and build on small successes.\u00a0 Each child will progress at his\/her own rate, acquiring skills as he\/she is developmentally ready. Maintaining each child\u2019s self-esteem and building a secure foundation for future growth will always remain a priority in our third grade.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are looking forward to working with your child this year and helping him\/her to achieve his\/her full potential.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Attached is our Third Grade Parent Notes that was\u00a0given at our Third Grade Meeting this past Thursday, September 13, 2018. We have also attached the PowerPoint Presentation for parents who were not able to attend the meeting. Please feel free to review and if you have any questions, please email your third-grade teacher.<\/strong><\/p>\n
