Please join us to review the two elementary language arts (reading and writing) programs that will be piloted next year:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Benchmark (Benchmark Learning)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • ReadyGen (Pearson)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Dearborn Public Schools will be piloting each of these highly rated programs in grades kindergarten – 5th grade for the 2019 – 2020 school year. Teachers selected for the pilot will use the same program for the entire year. All teachers will receive training. A resource subcommittee reviewed six programs and rated each through a rigorous process designed to identify the most relevant instructional resources.<\/span><\/p>\n

    At the end of the pilot period it is anticipated that an elementary language arts program will be recommended for adoption for the 20-21 school year for all elementary classrooms.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
