We practiced what to do when they come in in the morning. We practiced signing up for lunch and going to lunch. Some students were confusing their snack as a lunch.<\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0The students met with Principal Lazar to talk about Lunch and playground rules and routines.<\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Today we started our new math program. The students will have a Math homework sheet everyday after a lesson. We practiced Read to Self\u00a0 and read some new poems. They took the Poem binder home tonight to practice with you. Usually I will send the Poem binder home on Mondays.<\/h3>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Snacks<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Please try to get your child to eat some breakfast before they come to school, and also send them with a healthy snack. They are all very hungry. Also they may have their own water bottle on their desk.<\/h3>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #339966;\">District Testing<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0In September the students will be taking their first round of NWEA tests in the computer lab.<\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 *Math Test is on Tuesday 9.11.18 in the morning.<\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0*Reading test is on Tuesday 9.18.18 in the morning.<\/h3>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">**Parent Meeting<\/span><\/h2>\n<h2>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0This year the teachers are having Parent Meetings(30 minutes) to discuss curriculum and routines of the classroom. The first grade teachers are having their meetings next <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Thursday 9.6.18 at 5:00\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">pm <span style=\"color: #000000;\">in their individual classrooms<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span>.<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Class Routines \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0We&#8217;re getting into our routines, and trying out different subject areas.
