This week we will have our scheduled meeting and continue with our established procedures. All students have been enrolled in the iLearn course. We will return to our regular class session this week; we will be using iLearn for our meetings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Office Hours will continue with teachers available from 11am-2pm on Mondays and Fridays for individual questions. Tuesday through Thursday 40 minute check-in sessions will be held based on academic hour, please see the below schedule:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tuesday- 1st hour: 1pm, 2nd hour: 2pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Wednesday- 3rd hour: 1pm, 4th hour 2pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Thursday- 5th hour 1pm, 6th hour 2pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week, we are introducing a new theme topic of Love. This week’s materials will include the text of Romeo and Juliet Act 2, scene 2 and a video of the scene. Please try to review the material prior to your class session. There will be a CommonLit.org article, \u201cShould We Scoff at Love at First Sight,\u201d tied to love and romantic relationships- this assignment will be recorded in the grade book as INDEPENDENT PRACTICE. You will also be required to respond to a Participation\/Discussion Question related to the topic theme; you may engage your classmates in dialogue by posting\/responding to their answers to the question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The final element for the week will be iXL skills focused on C.4- Interpret Figures of Speech and D.1 Analyzing Literature: Match the Quotations with their Themes<\/p>\n\n\n\n
