I was thinking about all of you and how everyone&#8217;s celebrations probably looked very different this year.  I hope you got to see some family since the weather was nice!  On Saturday we went to my parent&#8217;s house but we all stayed outside and 6 feet away from each other.  It is so nice to see family.                                                                                                                                                      I will be going into the classroom on Wednesday this week to gather all of the kids items and put each child&#8217;s items into a bag.  Then there will be a pick-up day, I believe it will be June 1st for you to pick up the items. Capital B and lowercase b. They sound like buh. Write a B next to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Math<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For math today I would like you to explore the math site Happy Numbers that I set up for you. Click on the link below. Click on your child\u2019s name and the password is 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/happynumbers.com\/classes\/909711\/students\">https:\/\/happynumbers.com\/classes\/909711\/students<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Work Time<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Planning Time (5 minutes):&nbsp;<\/strong>Build your child\u2019s ability to organize their time by having them make a \u201cplan\u201d with you about what they would like to play with.&nbsp; Children do this everyday with us at school. It helps children learn to organize their thoughts. Adults make plans all the time to organize their thoughts (shopping lists are made before going to the grocery store, to do lists are made to help plan your day etc..).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Work Time (45-60 minutes):<\/strong>&nbsp;During work time kids play&nbsp;<strong>WITHOUT ELECTRONICS<\/strong>.&nbsp; Kids can use toys to pretend play, build, and create.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Clean Up (about 15 minutes):<\/strong>&nbsp; Kids clean up the mess they have made while playing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Recall<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Time (5 minutes):&nbsp;<\/strong>Build your child\u2019s memory of events by having your child tell you what they did while they played (ask \u201ctell me how you did that\u201d or \u201cwhat did you do next?\u201d)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Story Time<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This is another one of our classroom books that we would have read 4 times and then put it out for the kids to read (retell) on their own. The first thing we need to do is to make a weather graph.  You can make your own just like in the video below or you can print one that is attached here.
