Good Morning Families,<\/p>\n
Welcome to PreK!\u00a0 This is our 2nd “Full-Day” week now and we have been working on making smooth transitions.\u00a0 Hopefully it is getting easier to part with your child.\u00a0 I know when they are sad to leave you, it is hard to go, but remember it is best to leave quickly to make it easier for your child.<\/p>\n
We are working on social skills such as interacting with others and problem solving skills (sharing).<\/p>\n
We have been having fun learning the school schedule and learning how to use classroom materials.\u00a0 This week we are practicing how to care for books and putting caps back on markers.\u00a0 These are skills that will help to make the whole school year more smooth.<\/p>\n
We will be talking about Fall and the changes that are going on around us.<\/p>\n
Please send your child to school with a sweatshirt as we are having more “cool” days with Fall being here.\u00a0 It was a little chilly today when we went outside.<\/p>\n
